We have puppets of all kinds and a wonderful full size puppet
theater, great for kids as well as adults.
 Children can play with the puzzles or climb in the many chairs and cushions to read.
Our four room children's library is divided to accommodate the
needs of the growing child.
We have reference books and computers with on-line access.
 Kids are always welcome to use any of the many
games available for fun and learning. Some of the favorites are:
- I Spy
- Chess Mates
- Star Trek
- Invention mania
Our Parent's Corner is constantly growing with books and magazines,
such as Parenting, Parents, Child, Pack o Fun, and others. The Library also
has the "Reading Counts" list our local school uses to help young
readers.
Kids magazines at the Library: Nickelodeon, Kids Discover, Highlights, American Girl, Sports
Illustrated for Kids, National Geographic World, and Teen People.
Our special rack for Kids' Videos is one
of the favorite spots at the library. Any video may be kept for one week
free of charge. (Three videos per household.) Overdue charges are $1.00/day. |
