We have puppets of all kinds and a wonderful full size puppet theater, great for kids as well as adults.

The Listening Table has books with read along tapes, many may be checked out. This area is especially good for beginning readers and is right next to our Easy Reader section of books.

Children can play with the puzzles or climb in the many chairs and cushions to read.

Our three room Children's library is divided to accommodate the needs of the growing child. Story books and easy readers are in the main room, while updated fiction with comfy chairs is sectioned for quiet that encourages a good read.

Our nonfiction room has many updated reference books and has computers with on-line access.

Kids are always welcome to use any of the many games available for fun and learning. Some of the favorites are:

• Star Trek
• Invention mania

Our New Parent's Corner is constantly growing with books and magazines, such as Parenting, Parents, Child, Pack o Fun, and others. The Library also has the "Reading Counts" list our local school uses to help young readers.

Kids magazines at the Library: Nickelodeon, Kids Discover, Highlights, American Girl, Sports Illustrated for Kids, National Geographic World, and Teen People.

Our special rack for Kids' Videos and tapes with books is one of the favorite spots at the library. Any video may be kept for one week free of charge. (Three videos per family.) Overdue charges are $1.00/day.
