LEGO CLUB
Lego Club continues to meet once a month with leader and librarian Lacie Martin! Lego Club is open to kids in Kindergarten – 5th grades and requires NO SIGN UP. Walk-in one Wednesday of each month from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and enjoy our Lego stash and other fun activities!

PRE-K PACKETS
Come grab a preschool craft activity for your child to work on at home. We will have 2 kits available in December. Pick up the first one starting December 2, and the second starting December 16. Sign up now – supplies are limited!
READ WITH SANTA
(Recommended ages pre-k-5th)
Ho ho ho! Santa Claus is making a special pit stop at the library! Bring your little ones to meet him and listen to some merry holiday tales.
CRAFTS FOR KIDS
Visit the children’s library this month and get creative with a fun craft! We will have two options available, or feel free to enjoy both.
MENDOTA AREA SENIOR SERVICES
Due to a lack of funding, Mendota Area Senior Services will NOT be able to provide their outreach at The Earlville Library District for the time being. We have no estimate on when this outreach can resume, but will provide information as soon as it becomes available.
BOARD MEETING
There will be no board meeting in December. The next board meeting is January 21, 2025
SPECIAL DECEMBER CLOSINGS
The library will be closed December 24 and 25 for Christmas.
YARN CRAFT CLUB
Join us in December for an in-person yarn craft night! Paige will lead the group in creating hair scrunchies on the knitting machines! Spots are limited so sign up today.
WRAP AND GAB

KNITTING MACHINES
Did you know, you can reserve time at the library with our knitting machines? Set up your appointment and you’ll have access to all of our tools – just bring your own yarn! Need a tutorial or ideas? Check out Paige’s video tutorials and download written directions straight from our website, (on the top menu bar.)
FREE BOOKS!
We offer a wide selection of free books located just inside the main library entrance. Feel free to visit during our opening hours to explore the latest additions and take some home with you.
