We’ve got new craft kits available that feature a DIY playing card bookmark! All of the supplies you need are provided in each kit so you can take you craft on the road OR, we’ve got space set up so you can make your craft right here. This craft is open to ALL AGES.

Lego Club: K-5th Grades
Lego Club continues to meet once a month with leader and librarian Lacie Martin! Lego Club is open to kids in Kindergarten – 5th grades and requires NO SIGN UP. Walk-in on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and enjoy our Lego stash and other fun activities!

Story Time: Ages 3-5
Join Miss Nina with your 3-5 year old at the library on select Saturday mornings this Fall at 11:00 a.m. Read stories, play games, make crafts, and more! Registration is required and adults must accompany children. Extended schedules will be provided upon registration.

Rookie Reader Club: Grades K-5th
Rookie Reader, a program for Kindergarten – 5th graders is an hour-long program full of reading, snacks, and activities that will start in September and run for 6 weeks. Library staff along with community volunteers will perform an animated reading of The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. Participants will listen to a few chapters at a time and spend the rest of each day’s program on a craft or activity.

Yarn Craft Club: Adults
Yarn Craft Club:
Starting in May and running through September, Yarn Craft Club for adults will be meeting twice a month in effort to make hats with our yarn stash to donate this Fall. We’ll have the machines and all of the supplies available each meeting – or you can come just to enjoy the company and make whatever you like!

Mendota Area Senior Services – MASS
A representative from Mendota Area Senior Services will be at the Earlville Library District on August 16th @ 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. to assist seniors or individuals with disabilities with Benefit Access, Medicare, Medicare D, and Public Aid. Seniors can also find guidance regarding agencies that can help allow individuals to remain as independent as possible.
