Rookie Reader Club: Grades K-5th
Rookie Reader, a program for Kindergarten – 5th graders is an hour-long program full of reading, snacks, and activities that will start in September and run for 6 weeks. Library staff along with community volunteers will perform an animated reading of The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. Participants will listen to a few chapters at a time and spend the rest of each day’s program on a craft or activity.

This program is open to kids in grades Kindergarten – 6th and will meet for 30 minutes on Tuesday afternoons. No registration is necessary for this program. Walk-in and enjoy the show!

Visiting Voices: Grades K-6th
Local resident Gary Krolik in cooperation with Deb Larson and Pamela Ainsworth will be presenting an 8-week theatrical journey through the children’s classic, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. This program is open to kids in grades Kindergarten – 6th and will meet for 30 minutes on Tuesday afternoons for 8 weeks in a row. No registration is necessary for this program. Walk-in and enjoy the show!

The Earlville Library District Board of Trustees recently voted and approved the removal of any limits on DVD checkouts.
Checkout periods remain 1 week.
Fines remain $1/day.

Valentine Craft Bags for Adults & Kids
Valentine craft bags are quickly approaching for both adults and kids in grades K – 5th. Miranda, our crafty librarian has prepared 2 different crafts for both adults and kids that will be released a week at a time. Sign up today to reserve your bags and each week for 2 weeks in February you can pop in to grab a new craft. K-5th craft bags will come with written instructions included in the bags to complete each craft. Adults are invited to check out our YouTube channel and follow along to our video tutorials for each craft. Participants are encouraged to either stick around and craft at the library or take your kit to go!
Release Dates: Once reserved, craft bags will be held and can be picked up any time after the release date.
